  Preparations

  Well, i'm off to Mexico tomorrow morning at 6:30. This time around is for 10 days, working at Lily of the Vally Orphanage in Chihuahua. I'm not sure what to expect, but I am very excited. There isn't a lot to pack for... I mean c'mon, its only 10 days, I can survive on what I can put in a backpack :) . I am going with four other guys, all of whom are over 40, so this is going to be an interesting 30 hour van ride down. I expect to be driving for a good portion of the trip, I do very well driving in the car for long periods, fueled up on Monster hahaha.... but seriously I like the taste. I'm off to Walmart in a bit to pick up the last of the needed supplies, I need a digital camera that can take some abuse, some food for the trip down, and some phone cards that work in mexico. Im not sure what to do about my phone... i have service with BoostMobile and i need to check their international policies. I worst comes to worst i pick up a prepaid phone when I'm there. Not a big deal :) . Ah yes, I also need tape. I purchased 150 of these basic kites, called sleds, for the kids but i need some tape to put them together and for repairs, I will post pictures of the kite flying either during the trip or after.
